Description
As a 22nd member of the Mother Tongue Competence Development Workbooks, the publication entitled Rhetorical Analysis is published. The workbook begins with tasks aimed at the structure and modality of the sentence (structural analysis and pronunciation of the sentences in the dialogue) and continues with the word structure analysis and representation of the simple sentence. This is followed by exercises to establish the grammatical and logical relationships of the clauses of the subordinate complex and subordinate complex as well as the multi-complex sentences, and finally complex analytical tasks close the workbook. Within the complex sentences, the tasks are divided into the following divisions: 4.1. Subordinate compound sentence 4.1.1. The statement sentence 4.1.2. The subject sentence 4.1.3. The relevant adjective 4.1.4. The adverb clause 4.1.5. Indicator adjective 4.1.6. Analytical exercises 4.2. The associated compound sentence 4.2.1. Related sentence 4.2.2. The opposite sentence 4.2.3. The selection sentence 4.2.4. Assignment of inferential and explanatory suffixes 4.2.5. Analytical exercises In addition to the analytical finger exercises, there are a large number of creative tasks that also develop students' creativity. Several tasks also provide an opportunity to develop a contrastive approach to foreign language learning. The workbook, which includes nearly 50 assignments (an average of 8-10 simple or complex sentences to analyze in some way) and their solution, is designed primarily for high school students, but can also be used to the benefit of upper elementary school students. We recommend two more workbooks by Lajos Nagy.
