Church of the Virgin Mary in Szmrecsány

The Kossuth Prize-winning film director and art historian, Marcell Jankovics, and photographer Gábor Méry, the already well-known author duo, are now presenting a new volume. After their albums The Wing Altars of the Church of St. James in Levoča, The Cathedral of St. Elizabeth in Košice, The Basilica of St. Egyed in Bártfa, The Cathedral of St. Martin in Szepeshely, The Church of St. George in Szepesszombat, The Church of St. Nicholas in Bakakabánya, The Basilica of the Holy Cross in Késmárki, which present churches of former Upper Hungary, rich in unique treasures and architectural solutions and with their history rooted in the distant past, they now guide the interested party to the Church of the Virgin Mary in Szmrecsány.
